Job Summary

As a Healthcare Patient Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient experiences. You'll be responsible for answering patient calls regarding EOBs and research balances, managing patient refunds, and processing patient payments. Key Responsibilities

* Answer patient calls regarding EOBs and research balances

  • Manage patient refunds
  • Process patient payments
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, clients, and guests
  • Demonstrate extensive attention to detail, organization, and multi-tasking skills
  • Consistently meet or exceed performance metrics and quality standards

Requirements

* A minimum of one year of experience in medical billing and collections

  • Current knowledge of medical billing and reimbursement for commercial insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare
  • Thorough understanding of EOBs and the ability to effectively communicate by phone and in writing with patients
  • Self-motivated, multitasking, and a team player
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment

  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and practice management systems (PMS)
  • Certification in medical billing or a related field (e.g., CPC, CPB)
