About Comfrt: Comfrt is one of the fastest-growing DTC apparel brands in the world, with a social presence that even industry giants envy. Founded just three years ago, we’ve quickly built a reputation for stylish, elevated, and functional clothing designed to deliver unmatched comfort. From subtly weighted hoodies and sweatpants to cozy blankets and even pet hoodies, every Comfrt piece is created to inspire relaxation, support well-being, and promote a positive mindset. About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join our growing technology team. This role is critical in bridging the gap between business objectives, particularly in our eCommerce domain and ambitious international expansion initiatives, and the technical solutions required to achieve them. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of eCommerce platforms, international business processes, and the ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements for development teams.

Key Responsibilities: Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering

  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders (e.g., Marketing, Operations, Finance, Product Management) and the IT/Development teams, focusing specifically on eCommerce capabilities and cross-border operations.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of current business processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement within the existing eCommerce architecture (e.g., shopping cart, payment gateways, fulfillment, taxation).
  • Elicit, document, and manage functional and non-functional requirements (FRDs, BRDs) for new features, system enhancements, and major international deployments.
  • Develop user stories, process flows, wireframes, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with Product Owners and UX/UI designers.

eCommerce System Expertise

  • Maintain expert knowledge of our core eCommerce platform (e.g., Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify Plus, Magento, custom platform) and its integration points with other enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, WMS).
  • Analyze and optimize digital storefront performance, conversion funnels, and customer experience features related to global sites (e.g., multi-currency support, localization, region-specific promotions).
  • Troubleshoot complex system issues related to the eCommerce stack, performing root cause analysis and recommending technical solutions.

International Expansion Focus

  • Identify and document system requirements necessary to support launching the eCommerce business in new international markets (e.g., payment methods specific to a region, complex tax and duty calculation logic, international shipping/logistics).
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure new system features adhere to international regulations (e.g., GDPR, local privacy laws, consumer protection acts).
  • Analyze the localization requirements for each market, including language packs, cultural adaptations, and region-specific product catalogs.

Testing and Deployment

  • Develop comprehensive test plans and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions with business owners.
  • Validate that technical solutions meet the original business objectives and quality standards, particularly in a multi-region, multi-site environment.
  • Support the rollout and post-implementation phases of new projects and international site launches.
 Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably within a retail, consumer goods, or technology environment.
  • 3+ years of direct experience working with major B2C or B2B eCommerce platforms and related systems.
  • Demonstrable experience supporting or leading the systems implementation aspects of international business expansion or cross-border trade projects.
  • Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical information to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or Agile/Scrum (e.g., CSPO, CSM).
  • Familiarity with global payment processing, fraud management tools, and international logistics providers.
  • Experience with ERP, CRM, and/or PIM integrations in an eCommerce ecosystem.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau) to evaluate system performance and business impact.
Why Join Comfrt?
  • Be part of a purpose-driven company that’s shaping the future of comfort and mental wellness.
  • Work in a supportive, creative environment where your ideas and growth are valued.
  • Enjoy Comfrt benefits such as generous paid time off, company-covered health insurance, 5% 401k match, and discounts on all Comfrt products!
  • Join a passionate team making an impact on exciting projects, all while enjoying the flexibility and collaborative support of a fully remote environment.
