The PEZA Compliance Officer is accountable for ensuring the organization’s adherence to all regulations and reporting requirements mandated by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA). Responsibilities include managing statutory filings, liaising with PEZA officials, tracking regulatory updates, and assisting internal departments in maintaining compliance with PEZA standards applicable to registered enterprises. In addition to PEZA-related compliance, the selected candidate will also oversee finance, accounting, and tax matters in collaboration with the finance and tax teams.
What You Will Do
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure company compliance with all applicable PEZA rules and regulations.
- Monitor updates and circulars issued by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority and advise management on regulatory changes.
- Maintain all PEZA registration documents, permits, and approvals.
- Prepare and submit mandatory PEZA reports such as Annual/Quarterly/Monthly
- Ensure timely filing and proper documentation of all PEZA submissions.
- Liaison with Authorities
- Act as the primary contact point with PEZA officers and zone administrators. Coordinate with PEZA for Compliance inspections, Permit applications, Amendments to registration, Incentive compliance requirements.
- Work with Finance, Operations, and HR teams to gather required data for PEZA reporting.
- Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on PEZA procedures and documentation.
- Support PEZA compliance audits and internal compliance reviews.
- Maintain organized records for regulatory inspection.
Finance and Accounting Support
• Review and validate employee expense claims in SAP Concur to ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely collection and issuance of payment receipt and BIR Form 2307 (Certificate of Creditable Tax Withheld at Source).
• Assist in monitoring vendor payments, ensuring proper tax compliance and documentation.
• Support finance/tax team in local coordination with Govt. authorities and consultant for preparation of compliance-related financial reports.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Law, or related field.
- 3–5 years experience handling PEZA compliance or regulatory reporting.
- Experience coordinating with Philippine government agencies is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of PEZA rules and incentives
- Knowledge of Philippine regulatory and tax compliance.
- Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Availability during key PEZA reporting deadlines.
