Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality service to HIX customers, assisting with eligibility and enrollment for Medicaid, and services applications and enrollments for Qualified Health Plans on the Exchange. You'll utilize the State's eligibility and enrollment portal and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to perform all tasks and duties. Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to HIX customers, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner

  • Assist with eligibility and enrollment for Medicaid, and services applications and enrollments for Qualified Health Plans on the Exchange
  • Utilize the State's eligibility and enrollment portal and CRM software to perform all tasks and duties
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics and quality standards
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in customer service, preferably in a call center environment

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other State systems
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Must be a resident of the state of Maryland

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a healthcare or insurance environment

  • Knowledge of Medicaid and Qualified Health Plans
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
