As a key member of our team, you will provide professional and respectful customer service to internal and external customers, gain general knowledge to respond to customer inquiries, and complete accurate data entry of new applications for food, cash, and medical benefits.

Key Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Lobby Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing professional and respectful customer service to internal and external customers
  • Gaining general knowledge to respond to customer inquiries at the lobby window
  • Completing accurate data entry of new applications for food, cash, and medical benefits
  • Issuing electronic benefit cards (EBT) or performing EBT destruction
  • Working in a fast-paced environment, adhering to quick turnaround times, and executing accurate follow-up and follow-through

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Three (3) years of full-performance office support/clerical work (type and level of an Administrative Support Assistant III)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Bilingual skills and the ability to read, write, and speak proficiently
  • A proven ability to make a difference through engaging customers with a solution-oriented approach
  • A passion for working in community and exhibiting a strong desire to work with vulnerable, at-risk populations

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience working in a customer service or administrative support role
  • Knowledge of public assistance programs and services
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and customers

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including:

  • A guaranteed life-long monthly pension, once vested after 5 years of service
  • 457B Retirement Plan
  • 140 hours of PTO earned within the first year + 11 paid holidays, 1 personal holiday, and 1 volunteer day per year
  • Competitive medical, dental, and vision plans effective within 1 month of start date
  • On-call positions are part-time, hourly roles, with a maximum of 39 hours per week
