Position Overview
We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our Inbound Transportation team, where you'll be responsible for accurately entering routing requests from our vendor booking system into OMS. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Accurately entering routing requests from our vendor booking system into OMS
- Organizing and assigning shipments to our carrier partners
- Setting up new user accounts in the vendor booking system
- Maintaining an organized file of shipment data to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Collaborating with transportation planning analysts to keep the shipment process running smoothly
- Following best practices for data management and maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency
Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 1 year of experience in data entry or a related field
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Experience with order management systems (OMS) is a plus
