Job Responsibilities

As a Customer Experience Manager at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for developing and driving our team of customer service experts to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing customer experience strategies to drive business growth and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to understand customer needs and preferences
  • Identifying areas for improvement and leading initiatives to close gaps in customer experience
  • Executing SOPs and detailed work processes to ensure a seamless customer experience across all touchpoints
  • Conducting training and development programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our customer service team
  • Overseeing the rollout of new initiatives and processes, working closely with our workspace and store teams to ensure successful execution
  • Managing change management related to any 'Front of House' work process changes, working collaboratively with our workspace team to execute successfully
  • Monitoring checkout and returns performance against agreed-upon objectives and identifying areas for improvement
  • Assessing competition, customer behavior, and emerging customer support trends to inform business decisions and improve results

Essential Capabilities

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 4 years of retail leadership experience, with 3+ years of management experience
  • Working knowledge of Google Suite tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Schedule/Gmail)
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a pioneering spirit
  • Free-flowing attitude, time management skills, and individual responsibility

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we're looking for candidates with:

  • Related experience in the home goods/furniture industry
  • Effective experience as a Customer Service Manager or Customer Support Director, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Ability to lift and carry objects of more than 50 lbs

Physical Requirements

This role requires:

  • Ability to see, hear, and speak clearly
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Complex reading and writing abilities, basic mathematical skills, judgment/independent direction, analysis/appreciation

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $25-$35/hour, reflecting your skills and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, we offer:

  • 40-hour workweek with 75% of hours spent on the retail floor and training/fostering the team
