Job Description
We're seeking an Experienced Full Stack Software Engineer – Web & Cloud Application Development to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our development team, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure, and high-performance web and cloud applications. Your expertise will help us deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers, and your passion for technology will drive our continued success.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deploy full-stack web and cloud applications using a range of technologies, including Java, Python, and JavaScript
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, design solutions, and implement features
- Develop and maintain high-quality code, ensuring scalability, security, and performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, working closely with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement
- Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing your expertise and experience to support their growth and development
Skills and Abilities
* Strong understanding of full-stack development principles, including front-end and back-end technologies
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript, with experience in web and cloud application development
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
- Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, including AWS and Azure
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes
Education and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack web and cloud application development
- Experience with Java, Python, or JavaScript, with a strong understanding of web and cloud application development principles
- Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
- Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, including AWS and Azure
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Our core hours are 10:00am to 6:00pm CST, which means you should be available for meetings and collaboration during this time. We're a flexible and adaptable team, and we're open to discussing flexible work arrangements that meet your needs.
