Job Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Operator / Customer Service Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

• Entering and maintaining utility account information with high accuracy
• Verifying account eligibility and accessibility for customers
• Preparing and distributing work orders and mass communications
• Assisting with the mailing of billing statements and notices
• Conducting monthly audits of incomplete account transfer requests
• Providing exceptional customer service and resolving customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a high-volume data entry operator or typist
• Ability to pass computer skills, typing accuracy, and 10-key skills testing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree in business administration, data entry, or related fields
• Additional experience as a high-volume data entry operator or typist
