Responsibilities
As an Entry Level Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for a range of critical tasks, including:
- Data Entry and Management: Inputting data from paper documents into digital spreadsheets, updating order statuses for customers, and double-checking your work to ensure accuracy.
- Data Verification and Correction: Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities if possible, and checking the output to ensure it meets our high standards.
- Research and Data Retrieval: Researching and obtaining further information for incomplete documents, applying data program techniques and procedures, and generating reports as needed.
- Document Management: Scanning documents and printing files, when necessary, and storing completed work in designated locations.
- Backup Operations: Performing backup operations to ensure the integrity and security of our digital databases.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Access.
- Strong computer skills: Excellent typing skills, with the ability to enter data quickly and accurately.
- Basic knowledge of touch typing system and database management tools: Familiarity with database management tools and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Attention to detail: A keen eye for detail and the ability to identify and correct errors.
- Analytical thinking: The ability to think critically and analytically, with a problem-solving mindset.
- Experience working on a Data Entry Clerk position: While not required, experience in a similar role is a plus.
