Availability would be by-appointment-only, walk-in, study groups, embedded tutoring, or online tutoring, depending on tutor versatility and student demand. Desirable subject areas include:

Qualifications:

• Professional tutors should have a degree completed in a related field of study
• Peer Tutors should be excellent students who are knowledgeable in their subject areas and capable of effectively conveying that knowledge to others
• To be a Peer Tutor, a student must achieve an overall GPA of at least 3.0 and a minimum of a A- in the subject(s) tutored

• PA State Police Criminal Background Check
• PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
• FBI Criminal Background Check

The SHARC expects all tutors to be courteous, respectful, professional, and ethical at all times.
