[Remote] Mortgage Processing Support Specialist

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Rate is a company that provides mortgage services and is seeking a Mortgage Processing Support Specialist to join their National Support Center. This role involves providing troubleshooting support for application processing issues and assisting employees with various aspects of the loan process, excluding underwriting.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming telephone and email requests from Employees relating to issues that flow through to the team
• Work as an internal resource to troubleshoot and resolve items that come to the National Support Center
• Provide processing and application support to PODs throughout the loan process when help or guidance is required
• Utilize a tracking system to ensure items are handled completely, accurately and in a timely manner
• Leverage the Resource Center to provide procedural “how tos” to the POD
• Report trends to Management in order to assist with curriculum development or communication via the Resource Center

• Experienced mortgage professional
• Competent and confident with all GRI platforms including Encompass, AUS (DU/LP), CBC, DataVerify, Mavent, and the Resource Center
• Multi-tasker with strong attention to detail
• Strong sense of urgency in a fast-paced collaborative environment
• Patient, a good listener and a problem solver
• Provides help in a positive and helpful manner
• Excellent disposition, mindset and a strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn and develop
• Computer literacy and keyboarding skills
