Network Software Developer
KBR is a leading company in providing high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions for national security. They are seeking a Network Software Developer to develop software related to software defined networking and routing protocols, contributing to the design and optimization of defense systems.
Responsibilities
- Development of networking software for simulation, emulation, and/or testbed efforts
- Infrastructure development including container management and deployment using Kubernetes
- Support in the development of software-defined networking and/or routing approaches to solve problems and/or improve performance in emerging networks
Skills
- Active/Current DoD secret clearance is required
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with C++ and Python
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Familiarity with software-defined networking (SDN)
- Familiarity with routing protocols
- Good oral and communication skills
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Experience with software-defined networking
- Experience with operation and/or implementation of routing protocols
- Possess strong oral and written communications skills, and ability to clearly and logically present findings/results to internal and external organizations
