Job Description

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance with their scholarship applications. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers receive accurate and timely information, and resolving any issues or concerns they may have in a professional and empathetic manner.

Key Responsibilities:

* Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, providing accurate and timely information about scholarship applications and processes

  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and empathetic manner, ensuring that customers are satisfied with the outcome
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, including notes and follow-up actions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and ensure seamless customer experiences
  • Stay up-to-date with scholarship application processes, policies, and procedures to provide accurate information to customers
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including first-call resolution, customer satisfaction, and average handling time

Essential Qualifications:

* At least one year of customer service experience in a call center or similar environment

  • English proficiency, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Ability to remain empathetic, personable, and compassionate during sometimes difficult or tense situations
  • Self-motivation, detail-orientation, and the ability to multitask
  • Accurate typing and keyboard skills, with comfort using PC and internet navigation

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a not-for-profit or educational environment

  • Knowledge of scholarship application processes and policies
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
