The Role

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in educating union members about the benefits available to them through their affiliation. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner. You'll also have the opportunity to upsell additional benefits to members who are interested, but only if they express a desire to do so. This is not a cold-calling role, and you'll work directly with union associations to provide personalized support to their members.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to union members, responding to inquiries and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner

  • Educate members about the benefits available to them through their union affiliation
  • Upsell additional benefits to members who express interest, but only with their consent
  • Work closely with union associations to provide personalized support to their members
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve member issues and improve overall service delivery
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to provide informed guidance to members

Essential Qualifications

* 1-2 years of customer service experience in a similar industry or role

  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Fluency in English (Bilingual in any language is a plus, but not required)
  • MUST RESIDE IN CALIFORNIA

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with labor unions, credit unions, or associations

  • Knowledge of benefits and insurance products
  • Proven leadership abilities and a track record of success in a customer-facing role
  • Self-motivation and a desire for professional development and growth
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations and challenges
