Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Manager to join our team, responsible for overseeing the efficient and accurate entry of data into our database. As a key member of our data team, you'll work closely with our data managers and senior team members to ensure the integrity and accessibility of our data. Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Manager at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Transferring data from paper formats to computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners
  • Entering data provided directly by customers, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Creating spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without errors, utilizing your expertise in MS Office Word and Excel
  • Verifying data by comparing it with source documents, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and integrity
  • Updating existing data, ensuring that our database remains up-to-date and relevant
  • Retrieving data from the database or electronic files as requested, providing timely and accurate responses to our team members
  • Performing regular backups to ensure data preservation, adhering to our data security protocols
  • Sorting and organizing paperwork after data entry, ensuring that our physical records are tidy and easily accessible
  • Collaborating with our data team to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Demonstrated experience as a data entry clerk, with a strong track record of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Fast typing ability, with knowledge of touch typing systems preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet tools, including MS Office Word and Excel
  • Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
  • Basic knowledge of databases, with the ability to learn and adapt to our systems
  • Good command of English, both oral and written, and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and quality
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong educational background in a related field

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • Experience working in a remote or hybrid environment, with a strong ability to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Knowledge of data confidentiality principles and protocols, with a commitment to maintaining the highest level of data security
  • Experience working with data management software, such as CRM systems or data analytics tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
