What You'll Need to Succeed as a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex

To excel in this role, you'll need to possess the following minimum qualifications:

  • 2 years of customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results
  • Strong computer, typing, and 10-key skills, with the ability to navigate multiple software systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends, with a willingness to adapt to changing schedules

While not required, we also welcome candidates with the following preferred qualifications:

  • Transportation experience, with a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management

About the Customer Service Representative Job

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for a range of tasks, including:

  • Bill shipments according to applicable tariffs and pricing agreements
  • Recognize and resolve documentation errors, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Assist customers with inquiries, including tracing shipments, rate quotes, tariff discrepancies, and billing and invoicing questions
  • Perform general clerical duties as assigned, including answering and directing phone calls, filing, data entry, and billing
  • Process over, short, and damaged freight and related documentation for customer resolution

What You'll Do on a Typical Day

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll work closely with customers, colleagues, and management to resolve issues and provide exceptional service. Your typical day may involve:

  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer complaints and concerns
  • Analyzing and resolving documentation errors, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Providing accurate and timely information to customers, including shipment tracking and status updates
  • Processing and resolving over, short, and damaged freight, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Customer Service Representatives are Required to:

* Walk and/or stand for extended periods on a loading dock that is not climate-controlled and may be slippery
