Job title: 24 Coordinator - Afterschool Program Company: Delaware Department of Education Job description: Description: Elementary 21st Century Afterschool Site Coordinator (temporary position based on funding) Terms of Employment: Part Time - 29 hours per week Monday - Thursday (and Friday once or twice per month) 11:30 a.m.- 5:30 pm with summer hours (5 weeks in addition to summer programming and planning, approximately 8-2:30 or as scheduled) Reports to: Building Principal Salary: $35.70 per hour Minimum Qualifications:

• Would prefer certified applicant (Bachelor of Arts) with previous 21st Century Programming experience
• Experience with tutoring or teaching elementary school students preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The individual for this role coordinates the after-school Program at South Dover Elementary School. With this leadership role the individual selected would coordinate partnerships, resources, staff, and students to meet the expectations within the After School Grant. This position is grant funded. Building and maintaining partnerships and seeking additional funding sources will be an aspect of this role. This position would require summer preparation for the year-long school program. • Manage attendance, database of students, transportation, data collection and support registration & recruitment of students.
• Complete all DOE & district required paperwork.
• Organize training, planning, and coaching sessions.
• Reliable, punctual, and prepared to support all staff in the after school experience.
• Create an environment that promotes participation, enthusiasm, positive group interactions, and academic success.
• Oversee the interview process for hiring staff and oversee daily implementation of program and staff.
• Schedule, select, and facilitate additional activities and special events.
• Act as liaison for all partnerships
• Additional duties as assigned by the Principal or District Supervisor.
