Job Summary

We're seeking an entry-level Customer Service Chat representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Chat representative, you'll be responsible for providing excellent customer service to customers through online chat. You'll work with a team of experienced professionals to ensure that customers receive prompt and accurate responses to their inquiries.

Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Chat representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Responding to customer inquiries via online chat in a timely and professional manner
  • Identifying and resolving customer issues in a calm and courteous manner
  • Accurately documenting customer interactions in a CRM system
  • Escalating complex issues to senior team members as needed
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Staying up-to-date with product knowledge to provide accurate information to customers

Key Responsibilities:

* Respond to customer inquiries via online chat in a timely and professional manner

  • Identify and resolve customer issues in a calm and courteous manner
  • Accurately document customer interactions in a CRM system
  • Escalate complex issues to senior team members as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge to provide accurate information to customers

Responsibilities in Detail:

* Responding to customer inquiries via online chat in a timely and professional manner: + Answer customer inquiries and provide them with accurate information about products, services, and policies + Type quickly and accurately to respond to customers in a friendly and professional manner

  • Identifying and resolving customer issues in a calm and courteous manner:

+ Help customers resolve issues quickly and to their satisfaction + Research the issue, communicate with other team members, and find creative solutions that meet the customer's needs

  • Accurately documenting customer interactions in a CRM system:

+ Document each customer interaction accurately and completely, including any solutions that were offered or implemented + Maintain a high level of customer service by keeping accurate records of customer interactions

  • Escalating complex issues to senior team members as needed:

+ Recognize when an issue is beyond your ability to resolve and escalate it to the appropriate person or department + Work with senior team members to resolve complex issues and ensure customer satisfaction

  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction:

+ Work closely with other departments to ensure that customer issues are resolved quickly and to the customer's satisfaction + Communicate with shipping, returns, or other departments to resolve issues that affect customers

  • Staying up-to-date with product knowledge to provide accurate information to customers:

+ Stay informed about the latest products and policies to provide accurate information to customers + Attend training sessions or read product manuals to stay up-to-date on product knowledge

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Familiarity with Amazon platform and customer service best practices preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable working from home with a reliable internet connection and a quiet work environment
