Job Summary
As a Data Analyst in our Music Industry Insights and Analytics team, you'll be responsible for driving business success through data-driven insights and analytics. You'll work closely with cross-functional partners to identify business opportunities, develop data-driven solutions, and communicate findings to stakeholders. Your expertise will be critical in helping us make informed decisions, optimize business processes, and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive business success through data-driven insights and analytics
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify business opportunities and develop data-driven solutions
- Communicate findings to stakeholders through clear and concise reports, presentations, and dashboards
- Develop and maintain complex data models, including statistical and machine learning models
- Work with large datasets, including data mining, data visualization, and data storytelling
- Apply data science techniques, including regression, decision trees, and clustering
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, including data ingestion, processing, and storage
- Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement data architectures
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Essential Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in data analysis, data science, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or engineering
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
- Familiarity with machine learning libraries, such as scikit-learn or TensorFlow
- Experience with data mining and data warehousing techniques
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in a quantitative field
- Experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop or Spark
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, such as Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with data governance and data quality techniques
- Strong knowledge of music industry trends and analytics
