Job Summary

As a Remote Live Chat Agent, you'll be responsible for providing immediate assistance via live chat to potential patients and their families, addressing their queries and concerns in real-time. You'll work closely with our clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless communication and improve service delivery. Responsibilities

* Respond promptly to live chat inquiries from potential patients and their families, providing accurate information regarding hospice services, care options, and support resources.

  • Assist customers in navigating our processes and answering any concerns with sensitivity, empathy, and understanding.
  • Document chat interactions accurately in our systems to ensure continuity of care and facilitate effective communication between teams.
  • Collaborate with the clinical and administrative teams to relay pertinent information and improve service delivery, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor while managing multiple chats simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare, social work, communications) preferred.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a healthcare or social services setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple chats simultaneously.
  • Proficient in using technology, including chat software, email, and other computer applications.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a hospice or healthcare setting, with knowledge of end-of-life care options and support resources.

  • Certification in a related field (e.g., Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse, Certified Social Worker) preferred.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a strong understanding of online communication tools and platforms.
