Job Summary
As a Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for applying advanced analytical techniques to large-scale, high-dimensional data sets to drive business decisions. You will work closely with our content team to analyze user behavior, identify trends and patterns, and develop insights that inform our content strategy. Your expertise will be essential in helping us to optimize our content release and episode discharge methodology, as well as test marketing systems to improve engagement and retention.
Key Responsibilities
* Apply advanced data analysis techniques (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, AI) to large-scale, high-dimensional data sets to drive business decisions
- Analyze user behavior (e.g., viewing patterns, engagement metrics) to identify trends and patterns and develop insights that inform our content strategy
- Anticipate content commitment to inform procurement decisions
- Streamline our content release and episode discharge methodology
- Test marketing systems to improve engagement and retention
- Ideate and develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance for both strategic and tactical navigation
- Provide impromptu analysis support to partners to drive business growth
- Successfully communicate significant results through compelling data storytelling across the organization
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in data analysis
- Proficiency in SQL and experience in R and/or Python
- Experience in statistical analysis and AI methods: decision trees, regression, clustering, etc.
- Proven ability to work independently and apply creativity in solving complex problems
- Exceptional data storytelling skills through verbal, written, and visual communication
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Data Science, Math, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience working with large-scale data sets and advanced data analysis techniques
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and techniques
- Strong understanding of data governance and data quality principles
