We're seeking an exceptional Data Entry/Intake Pharmacy Technician to join our team in North Scottsdale, AZ. This is a full-time position with the possibility of working from home after completing onsite training.

Job Summary

As a Data Entry/Intake Pharmacy Technician at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in creating patient profiles, processing orders, and managing incoming documents. Your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to provide top-notch customer service, while your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure accuracy and efficiency in your work.

Responsibilities

* Create patient profiles and process orders in a timely manner from electronic prescription and fax queues

• Request refill prescriptions as necessary
• Manage incoming documents from the fax server
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless order processing and patient care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information and orders
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications and Responsibilities

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Good interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and be flexible
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of medical terminology, including sig codes and Roman numerals, brand and generic names of medications, and general pharmacy terminology
• Ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently when inputting information
• Licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
• Basic math and analytical skills
• Intermediate typing/keyboarding skills

Preferred Qualifications

* 3+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician

• Specialty pharmacy experience
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) certification

Compensation and Salary

The starting salary for this position is $24.00 per hour, with opportunities for growth and advancement based on performance.
