Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service/Sales Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing fast, friendly service to customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Learning about our products and services, and providing expert advice to customers to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Greeting, qualifying, recommending, and closing every customer in your department, and knowing how to handle basics in adjacent departments
  • Maintaining the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
  • Providing a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies and standards, completing specified safety training, and reporting hazards and unsafe conditions to your Manager on Duty
  • Working in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department, as well as other departments
  • Participating in sales and customer service initiatives to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service or sales, preferably in a retail or customer-facing environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Strong product knowledge and sales skills, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly to new products and services
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or university education preferred

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • Experience in a retail or customer-facing environment, preferably in a sales or customer service role
  • Knowledge of our products and services, or a willingness to learn and adapt quickly
  • Experience with sales and customer service software and systems
  • Certification in customer service or sales, such as the Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or the Certified Sales Professional (CSP)
