Job title: In-person Test Prep Tutor Company: Applerouth Tutoring Job description: Applerouth is looking to hire in-home, one-on-one, test prep tutors to service Westchester County, NY (Yonkers, New Rochelle, Scarsdale, White Plains...) Overview Applerouth is a group of passionate educators seeking Test Prep Tutors excited to work at a growing educational services company. Founded in 2001, we have created a supportive and dynamic learning environment that fosters growth and success for our students. New tutors go through paid training to provide them with extensive knowledge of both the SAT and ACT, as well as pedagogical strategies to help tutor different types of students. We also provide regular supplemental training to help tutors stay aware of changes to both tests and pedagogy. Applerouth tutors believe students are more than a score. We expect applicants to have the following: Empathy, Creativity, Strong communication skills, and a desire to help others; Reliable transportation; High-speed internet; Prior tutoring/teaching experience is a plus Requirements

• SAT, ACT, or other standardized test scores
• At least one year of College
• Access to reliable transportation. Many sessions will take place in students' homes or a mutually amenable location.
