Key Responsibilities

As a Shopify Chat Assistant, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer support via live chat on businesses' websites and social media accounts
  • Troubleshooting and resolving customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Guiding customers through their purchasing process and providing detailed product information
  • Collaborating with Shopify store owners to understand their business needs and preferences
  • Staying up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to provide informed support
  • Working independently to manage multiple customer conversations and prioritize tasks effectively

What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you'll require:

  • A reliable device with access to social media and website chat functions (phone, tablet, or laptop)
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple customer conversations
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow provided steps and instructions
  • 10+ hours of availability per week
  • A reliable internet connection
