Job Summary

As an Engagement Manager on our Amazon Q Customer Success Team, you'll own the delivery of complex Gen AI projects and programs, combining technical expertise with direction to drive successful implementations of AWS-based solutions for our clients. You'll bridge business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating technical discussions and ensuring alignment with customer outcomes. Key Responsibilities

As an experienced technology program/project manager, you'll be responsible for:

  • Directing complex Gen AI proof-of-concepts, implementations, and enterprise adoption projects
  • Leveraging comprehensive knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical and strategic planning
  • Bridging business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating engineering discussions and ensuring alignment with customer business outcomes
  • Distilling customer needs into clear technical requirements and mapping them to business outcomes
  • Decomposing complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutions
  • Contributing to technical documentation and defining documentation standards

Essential Qualifications

* 5+ years of experience in technology program/project management, with a focus on Gen AI and cloud computing

  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects and programs on time, within budget, and to customer satisfaction
  • Comprehensive knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and best practices
  • Strong technical credibility across diverse stakeholders, with the ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, actionable requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate technical discussions and ensure alignment with customer outcomes
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to decompose complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutions

Preferred Qualifications

* AWS certifications, such as the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional

  • Experience with cloud adoption frameworks, such as the Well-Architected Framework or Cloud Adoption Framework
  • Strong understanding of Gen AI concepts, including natural language processing, machine learning, and deep learning
  • Experience with agile project management methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate technical risks

* Technical expertise in Gen AI and cloud computing, with a strong understanding of AWS services and architectures

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to deliver complex projects and programs on time, within budget, and to customer satisfaction
