Job Overview

We're seeking highly motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our team at arenaflex's Amazon Locker+ retail locations. As a Customer Service Associate, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that our customers have a seamless and enjoyable experience when picking up or returning their packages. You'll be the face of arenaflex, providing top-notch service, resolving issues, and making our customers feel valued and appreciated.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Associate, your duties will include:

  • Receiving, picking, and stowing customer orders, processing returns, and preparing for delivery
  • Assisting customers with questions and concerns, providing solutions to their problems
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace, adhering to arenaflex's high standards
  • Managing responsibilities for a Locker+ location, including opening and closing the site
  • Utilizing technology, such as smartphones and handheld devices, to sort, scan, and prepare orders
  • Receiving truck deliveries and ensuring that packages are accurately processed and stored
  • Performing physical labor, including lifting up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Standing and walking during shifts lasting up to five hours, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Using carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
  • Going up and down stairs (where applicable)
  • Being available to work part-time between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m., with schedules varying week to week

* Safety: Your safety is our top priority, and we provide a safe working environment for all our associates.

  • Surroundings: You'll be working behind a counter, interacting with customers, and may be located in a Whole Foods Market, a freestanding location, a partner retailer, or even in the lobby of a warehouse.
  • Activity: You'll be on your feet for the majority of your shift, helping customers and sorting packages.
  • Temperature: Our Locker+ locations are in comfortable, climate-controlled environments.
  • Noise level: Sound levels are minimal, similar to what you'd expect in a grocery store.
  • Dress code: Relaxed, with a few rules to follow for safety. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required, and protective safety footwear may be required in select business units. arenaflex provides a $110 Zappos gift code towards the purchase of shoes to ensure you're prepared for your first day on the job.

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a retail or warehouse environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing situations and priorities
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Availability to work part-time between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m., with schedules varying week to week

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience working in a warehouse or retail environment

  • Familiarity with technology, such as smartphones and handheld devices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
  • Ability to work in a variety of environments, including Whole Foods Market, freestanding locations, partner retailers, or warehouse lobbies
