What You'll Do

As a remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Completing daily tasks related to account processing, object processing, direct bills, and budget transfers
  • Coordinating return objects with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions
  • Assisting various departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and associated accounting standard ledger balancing
  • Working member cases/assignments
  • Following and preserving guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines and Federal Banking laws
  • Processing mortgage bills, multi-account and member deposits, credit card bills, and other exams, including IRA, financial ruin, and payoff exams
  • Reviewing, examining, and approving Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products
  • Logging, studying, and making important GL, account changes, and/or returns
  • Processing Stop Pays and Check Batching
  • Completing daily balancing and department closing
  • Obtaining information from contributors for the timely and correct processing of international and domestic budget switch requests
  • Researching and affirming incoming and outgoing budget switch information
  • Communicating with the seller to process budget transfers
  • Understanding and being familiar with outgoing and incoming budget switch laws
  • Depositing check returns, studying member again exams on draft changes, processing member exams, affirming contributors for outgoing budget transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing budget transfers
  • Completing daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, overseas collections, and prison fees

What You'll Need for Success

Minimum Qualifications

* High school degree or GED

  • Intermediate Excel and Word experience

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous customer/member service experience

  • Previous banking or Credit Union experience
  • Episys/Symitar and processing wires

Skills, Licenses, and Certifications

* Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) won through both work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software

  • Ability to work prolonged hours in aid of business needs
  • Ability to work extremely good customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and feature as an essential part of a team
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations and examine data
  • Ability to efficiently prioritize work and meet time limits under high volume pressure
  • Ability to cross-train and perform any position assigned within department
  • Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and contributors
  • Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision
  • Ability to self-motivate with strong employer skills and ability for interest to detail
  • Ability to efficiently prioritize work and meet time limits
  • Ability to preserve excellent performance and attendance
  • Must pass relevant arenaflex and Credit Union pre-employment compliance exams
