Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Storage Administrator to join our team and lead the development and implementation of our enterprise storage solutions and cloud infrastructure. As a key member of our IT department, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our storage systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, implement, and maintain enterprise storage solutions and cloud infrastructure, including NAS, SAN, and DAS systems

• Develop and implement data backup and recovery strategies to ensure high availability and data integrity
• Collaborate with application, database, server, and other technology teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance
• Provide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders on data storage and cloud infrastructure best practices
• Develop and maintain documentation for daily and ad-hoc tasks, including code updates and security patches
• Perform code updates and security patches to maintain the health and security of storage systems
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and recommend new solutions to improve our storage infrastructure

Requirements

* 3 years of experience in data storage or a related field, with a focus on networking and storage protocols

• Industry knowledge and experience with large-scale SAN design and implementation
• Strong understanding of business storage architecture, with expertise in DellEMC, Cisco, and similar OEMs
• Familiarity with current and emerging data security innovations
• Experience with NAS concepts and protocols (CIFS, NFS, and S3)
• Knowledge of data synchronization technologies for both SAN and NAS
• Operating system framework organization skills (both Linux and Windows)
• VMWare concepts and organization
• Proficient in providing clear and well-organized documentation
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Active involvement in project life-cycle management
• Broad investigating and execution checking skills
• Ability to work autonomously under broad guidance

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (a combination of training, work experience, and education may be considered)

• Experience with cloud storage solutions, such as Amazon S3 or Azure Blob Storage
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of data analytics and business intelligence tools
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins and GitLab
