Job Summary

As a Customer Service Financials and Human Resource Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including data entry, data stewardship, and customer service. You will work closely with our HR Records Management Team to ensure that all employment records are accurate and up-to-date, and that our associates receive the support they need to succeed. This is a high-profile and high-stakes role, and we are seeking an individual who is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Financials and Human Resource Data Entry Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Completing Rehire and Transfer Eligibility Checks, which involves research and investigation of information to come to a conclusion
  • Maintaining electronic personnel files and completing all file requests
  • Organizing and distributing all incoming paper documents
  • Maintaining data integrity and responsible for auditing of data
  • Ensuring a 24-48 hour processing turnaround for all requests
  • Troubleshooting problems/questions related to processing and bringing resolution to issues
  • Serving as a customer service representative to handle questions related to the electronic personnel file and eligibility requests

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • Excellent investigative skills, with the ability to research and investigate information to come to a conclusion
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to respond to questions and provide instructions and directions in a clear and concise manner
  • Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and address deliverables in a timely manner
  • PeopleSoft HRMS experience is preferred, but not required
  • Ability to learn and apply technical information relevant to the job, with a focus on maintaining data integrity at all times
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) applications and Internet Explorer/Edge/Chrome skills are required

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze information and make sound decisions
  • Ability to communicate effectively and accurately with a variety of internal stakeholders
  • Strong MS Excel skills, particularly as it relates to database management
