Responsibilities of the Remote Data Entry Clerk

  • Typing in data provided directly from staff
  • Verifying data by comparison/generating reports
  • Sorting and organizing paperwork (electronic and hard copy) following data entry

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior work experience in data entry
  • Preferred work experience in a medical, legal, or insurance claims office
  • Typing proficiency, preferred level of at least 45 wpm accuracy, no errors
  • Some understanding of the internal processes of medical facilities and med-legal terminology
