We're seeking a strategic sales professional to join our R&D Sales Team as an Account Partner, selling across the Development Cloud. In this role, you'll work to identify and grow sales opportunities within assigned accounts with our emerging and mid-size biotech customers. Job Summary

As an Account Partner on our R&D Sales Team, you'll be responsible for selling the Veeva Vault Development Cloud across the enterprise with a value-based selling approach. You'll work closely with our emerging and mid-size biotech customers to understand their strategic direction and how Veeva supports it with software, data, and consulting. Your goal will be to develop and expand relationships within a set of 5-10 accounts, delivering analytics and benchmarking around account progress, maturity, and value to customers and internal sales leadership.

Key Responsibilities

* Utilize a value-based selling approach to sell the Veeva Vault Development Cloud across the enterprise

  • Know and understand the customer's strategic direction and how Veeva supports it with software, data, and consulting
  • Responsible for developing and expanding relationships within a set of 5-10 accounts
  • Deliver analytics and benchmarking around account progress, maturity, and value to customers and internal sales leadership
  • Build tailored account plans and product business cases to drive sales growth
  • Excel in strategic client engagement beyond renewals and order fulfillment
  • Travel to customers as required

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • ~5+ years of recent experience in quota-carrying account management
  • Exceptional relationship management skills with experience managing and growing strategic accounts across IT, business, and C-suite
  • Demonstrated expertise in core account management, including building tailored account plans and product business cases
  • Strong track record of business development in green field territory
  • Strong collaboration skills and ready to roll up their sleeves to help others

  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
