Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Clerk/Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

  • Data Entry and Management: Enter and update data accurately in company systems, verifying data for accuracy and completeness to ensure the highest level of data integrity.
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, resolving customer issues and escalating as needed to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Administrative Support: Assist in preparing reports and documents, perform general office duties like filing and organizing, and maintain and update customer records.
  • Data Security and Compliance: Ensure data privacy and security compliance, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines to protect sensitive information.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration, providing updates and feedback as needed.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; higher education preferred.
  • Experience: Experience in data entry or customer service, with a strong understanding of data management and customer service principles.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent typing skills with high accuracy, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and experience with data entry software and systems.
  • Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to multitask and meet deadlines, customer-focused with a professional attitude, and ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Office Specialist, are a plus.
