Job Summary

As a Customer Service Senior Representative at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences that meet the needs of our clients and customers. You'll be responsible for providing timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries, resolving complex issues, and ensuring that our clients' needs are met. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver specific delegated Customer Service tasks assigned by a supervisor, including responding to customer inquiries, resolving complex issues, and ensuring that our clients' needs are met.

  • Respond to inquiries from policy holders, providers, and others for information and assistance, using your knowledge of healthcare insurance industry processes and policies.
  • Perform research to respond to inquiries and interpret policy provisions to determine the most effective response.
  • Mail or route claim forms and supporting documentation to various units for final processing.
  • Independently respond to inquiries, grievances, or complaints of moderate to substantial complexity, using your problem-solving skills and knowledge of industry processes.
  • Complete day-to-day tasks without immediate supervision, but have ready access to advice from more experienced team members.
  • Resolve non-routine issues escalated from more junior team members, using your expertise and knowledge of industry processes.
  • Tasks involve a degree of forward planning and anticipation of needs/issues, requiring you to be proactive and responsive to customer needs.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience

* Skills: + Attention to detail + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Ability to interpret and appropriately follow policies, procedures, manuals, and written instructions as given + Demonstrated ability to handle challenging situations in a professional manner + Willingness to work varying tasks

  • Knowledge:

+ Third Party Insurance Carrier Processes + Healthcare pharmaceutical and services (a plus)

  • Experience:

+ Previous experience in the healthcare industry (1-2 years) with third-party benefits verification experience preferred + MUST have experience taking inbound and outbound calls (30 calls per day)

  • Technology:

+ Basic knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word, MS Office, SharePoint required

Essential Qualifications

* High School diploma and at least 1-2 years of customer service, insurance verification, or related area required

  • Previous experience in the healthcare industry (1-2 years) with third-party benefits verification experience preferred
  • MUST have experience taking inbound and outbound calls (30 calls per day)
  • Basic knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word, MS Office, SharePoint required

  • Knowledge of healthcare pharmaceutical and services (a plus)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

  • $17 - $18 per hour
