ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM

As an Associate Project Manager, you will drive a variety of project initiatives that meets the needs of our customer base. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with colleagues and customers located worldwide. Success in this role means you pay attention to detail be time-sensitive possess influencing skills and enjoy working with others of diverse backgrounds. 

Reporting to the Portfolio Senior Manager you will be a part of the America Deliver Team responsible for managing and delivering different project across the region.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Managing projects within the aviation network industry.
• Manage end‑to‑end project execution, guiding initiatives from initial planning through successful completion.
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and change requests.
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional and globally distributed project teams.
• Monitor project performance against established plans and implement corrective actions when required.
• communicate to team members management stakeholders and customers regularly and frequently ensuring that there are continuous understanding and alignment regarding the progress of the project.
• Proactively work with the customer and their teams to ensure that each project goal and objective is met with satisfaction.
• Maintain a strong customer‑centric approach, ensuring project objectives and customer satisfaction targets are met.
• Produce clear, comprehensive project documentation including plans, status updates, governance materials, and lessons‑learned reports.

WHO YOU ARE

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Formal Project Management training: PMP certification preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing end‑to‑end network infrastructure projects.
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable.
• Experience within aviation, airline, airport, global telecommunications, or transportation sectors.
• Solid understanding of LAN/WAN, SD‑WAN, MPLS, VPNs, Firewalls, and Network Security principles.
• Demonstrated strength in vendor and stakeholder management.
• Strong documentation, reporting, and presentation capabilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and programs of varying complexity, budgets, and deliverables within a commercial environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to influence and engage stakeholders effectively.
