Substance Use Counselor ADT, CAC-AD, or CSC-AD

- Provide individual and group counseling for substance use and co-occurring disorders
- Complete intake assessments and contribute to treatment planning
- Support clients with relapse prevention and recovery goal setting
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with program standards

- Active ADT, CAC-AD, or CSC-AD credential in Maryland
- High school diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s preferred for certified roles)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Understanding of substance use treatment and recovery principles
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and TB test
- Experience in outpatient, IOP, or community-based treatment programs
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and harm reduction
- Familiarity with EHR systems
- Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) a plus
- May require sitting, standing, and light lifting (up to 20 lbs)
- Able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
