Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Interact with customers: Provide information in response to inquiries about programs and services in a contact center.
- Respond to customer inquiries: Answer customer questions received by telephone, Interactive Voice Response (IVR), or web-based portal regarding information on programs and services.
- Record customer interactions: Document details of inquiries, complaints, comments, and actions taken.
- Follow standard operating procedures: Ensure consistency and accuracy in customer interactions.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve problems: Ensure that appropriate changes are made to resolve customer issues.
- Refer unresolved customer grievances: Refer unresolved customer complaints to designated departments for further investigation.
- Communicate with supervisor: Inform supervisor of any potential needs or concerns.
- Navigate multiple computer systems: Add appropriate documentation to computer systems while speaking with a customer.
- Perform data entry accurately: Ensure accurate data entry to maintain customer records.
Minimum Requirements:
* High school diploma or GED: Required for this position.
- 0-6 months of relevant professional experience: Required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Program Specific Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent, 6 months of customer service experience preferred, and must reside within 70 miles of El Paso, TX (Must live in Texas).
- Home Office Requirements: Reliable, high-speed internet service, minimum 20 Mbps download speeds, traditional, wired high-speed connection such as cable or fiber, quiet and distraction-free workspace, and Maximus will supply your computer equipment.
