with the use of radiation and protects citizens of the commonwealth from unnecessary exposure to ionizing

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conducts radiation protection surveys, complex, sample analysis and evaluates radiation programs.
- Verifies compliance with state regulations and prepares clear and concise report of findings.
- Follows prescribed methods and procedures for using radiation detection instruments.
- Performs inspections on various types of radiation producing machines to include industrial, medical, dental, academic and veterinary.
- Other duties as required.
