Responsabilits

  • Veiller ce que tous les aspects du cycle de la paie, y compris les impts, les prestations, les saisies-arrts, etc., soient traits, rapprochs, vrifis et transmis avec exactitude et en temps opportun
  • Assurer le traitement exact et en temps opportun des changements touchant la paie, les formulaires fiscaux, les paiements et le traitement de la paie pour les clients assigns
  • Responsable du contrle et de la vrification de la qualit pour assurer l’exactitude et le faible pourcentage d’erreurs ou de dfauts
  • Collaborer avec les partenaires internes interfonctionnels pour rsoudre les problmes de paie des clients et les demandes des employs
  • Fournir des services de soutien la paie aux clients conformment au contrat de Dayforce, aux exigences lgislatives et aux besoins oprationnels
  • tablir et maintenir une comprhension approfondie des exigences des clients et de leurs besoins changeants afin de s’assurer que les services fournis sont conformes aux obligations contractuelles et aux ENS des clients.
  • Crer, mettre jour et examiner les procdures oprationnelles normalises et effectuer des examens trimestriels des documents
  • Avoir une attitude moi de dcider des livrables et des projets du dbut la fin
  • Grer les tches lies aux clients et aux consommateurs dans le systme de gestion des cas en veillant ce que tous les documents soient complets, exacts et opportuns.
  • Grer de faon proactive la vrification et le traitement de la paie en fin d’exercice et de trimestre
  • Anticiper et agir, reprer les opportunits et agir en consquence et contribuer de manire proactive l’amlioration des processus

Exprience et comptences recherches

  • Capacit de travailler de 8 h 16 h ou de 9 h 17 h (EST)
  • Entirement bilingue en franais et en anglais
  • Trois ans d’exprience du traitement de la paie dans une opration de paie volume lev; exprience de la paie de bout en bout apprcie
  • Exprience souhaite dans le secteur de l’externalisation de la paie ou de la consultation
  • Exprience et comprhension claire de la paie, des avantages sociaux et de la fiscalit, et comprhension des exigences lgislatives applicables
  • Capacit rsoudre les problmes des clients et offrir un service la clientle suprieur aux partenaires internes et externes
  • Excellentes comptences de communication tant l’oral qu’ l’crit ; capacit communiquer clairement, techniquement et efficacement avec les clients et les partenaires internes
  • Bonnes comptences d’analyse, d’organisation et de rsolution de problmes
  • Matrise de Microsoft Word, d’Excel intermdiaire et de PowerPoint

About the opportunity

Dayforce is currently seeking a Payroll Specialist III to join our Dayforce Managed Team. We service our clients by supporting the complete employee life cycle including payroll, workforce management, benefits, and contact center; allowing the client to focus on their core business.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the area of payroll and a strong working knowledge of benefits, workforce management and tax. They will also have the ability to interface with clients and to use critical thinking skills to resolve complex problems.

What you’ll get to do

  • Responsible for ensuring all aspects of the payroll cycle, including tax, benefits, garnishments, etc. are processed, reconciled, audited and transmitted accurately and timely
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll impacting changes, tax forms, payments and payroll processing for assigned clients
  • Responsible for quality control and auditing to ensure accuracy and low error or defect percentage
  • Work with cross-functional internal partners to resolve client payroll matters and employee inquiries
  • Provide Payroll support services to clients according to Dayforce contract, legislative requirements and business needs
  • Establish and maintain a deep understanding of customers’ requirements and their changing needs to ensure services delivered are as per contractual obligations and in accordance with customer SLAs.
  • Create, update and review standard operating procedures and performs quarterly document reviews
  • Have an “I own it” attitude about deliverables and projects from start to finish
  • Manage client and consumer-related tasks within the case management system ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and timely
  • Proactively manage quarter, and year-end payroll auditing and processing
  • Think and act ahead, spot opportunities and act accordingly and proactively contribute to process improvements

Skills and experience we value

  • Ability to work from 8:00 – 16:00 or 9:00 to 17:00 (EST)
  • Fluent in English and French is required
  • 3 years of payroll processing experience in a high-volume payroll operation; end to end payroll experience a plus
  • Experience in the payroll outsourcing or consulting industry preferred
  • Experience and a clear understanding of payroll, benefits and taxation and an understanding of applicable legislative requirements
  • Ability to resolve client’s issues and provide superior customer service to internal and external partners
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly, technically, and effectively with customers and internal partners
  • Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, intermediate Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Experience with Dayforce HCM or similar cloud payroll technology
  • Multi-client payroll processing experience
  • 1k+ employee payroll processing experience
  • Industry related certifications or desire to obtain within two years of employment
  • Experience with Dayforce HCM or similar cloud payroll technology
  • Strong working knowledge of quality control and auditing standards
  • A desire to continually learn and take on challenges
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with clients and internal team members
  • Associates Degree desired
  • Bilingual is a must (English/French)
