Senior Clinical Informatics Analyst
We’re looking for a Senior Clinical Informatics Analyst. This role will work closely with clinical and technical stakeholders to improve healthcare workflows, ensure data quality, and drive data-informed decision-making.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in clinical informatics, healthcare IT, or a related field
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows, healthcare operations, and data structures
- Experience with EHR/EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech)
- Knowledge of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret clinical and operational data
- Experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and documentation
- Understanding of healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA compliance)
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with clinical data analytics and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau)
- Familiarity with interoperability platforms and integration tools
- Experience working with population health or value-based care models
- Background in nursing, medicine, or other clinical practice
- Certifications in clinical informatics or healthcare IT
- Experience in large-scale healthcare system implementations
Core Responsibilities
- Analyze clinical workflows and healthcare processes to identify optimization opportunities
- Collaborate with clinical stakeholders (physicians, nurses, operations teams) to gather and translate business needs into technical requirements
- Configure, implement, and support clinical information systems (EHR/EMR and related platforms)
- Ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Support integration of clinical systems with other enterprise platforms
- Develop and maintain documentation, reports, and dashboards for clinical data analysis
- Provide insights to improve patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making
- Participate in system upgrades, testing, and user training
