Senior Accountant (Remote)
Location: START YOUR APPLICATIONSummary T2S Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join the team in a remote capacity. This key role will specialize in managing day-to-day accounting operations, supporting month-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with applicable financial regulations. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in government contracting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform month-end close activities, including preparing and posting accounting journal entries, ensuring appropriate accounting treatment, and completing account reconciliations across various financial statement areas
- Prepare customer invoices and compile supporting documentation
- Identify opportunities for process and system improvements to streamline accounts receivable and billing
- Review and approve accounts payable vouchers, including coding and supporting documentation
- Support external audit requests and provide required documentation
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc initiatives as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor�s degree in Accounting or related field preferred; candidates with significant relevant accounting experience will be considered
- 4�7+ years of accounting experience
- Experience in the government contracting industry preferred
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint strongly preferred
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (primarily Excel)
Compensation: 90-110k (DOE)
