Senior Accountant (Remote)

• Prepare accurate financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements, ensuring monthly account reconciliation for accurate records.
• Maintain compliance with financial regulations and company policies while overseeing the general ledger.
• Analyze costs, recommend strategies for optimization, and evaluate financial risks to implement controls.
• Develop and manage budgets, providing financial forecasts to support decision-making.
• Support Cordatus's client in back-office accounting functions, including managing A/P & A/R, bank reconciliations, and preparing periodic financial statements.
• Mentor junior staff and assist team managers with various tasks.
• Interact with clients through video calls (Zoom + MS Teams) and respond to queries via email/Slack/MS Teams live chats.
• Enter invoices and other accounting data into cloud-based accounting systems.
• Streamline accounting functions and operations for efficiency.

Job Specifications

• ACCA, MBA, or equivalent qualifications in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP, as well as Microsoft Office tools.
• Fluent spoken and written English for effective communication with U.S.-based clients.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills, ensuring accurate records and seamless remote work with reliable internet and a dedicated workspace.
• Comfortable working remotely as per US Time zones from Monday till Friday.
