Pre-Sales Support Specialist I

GeoBlue, part of Blue Cross Blue Shield Global Solutions, focuses on providing accessible healthcare solutions for individuals and organizations abroad. The Pre-Sales Support Specialist I will serve as a primary contact for brokers and agents, assisting in sales processes, reporting, and event logistics to enhance customer experience and support business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for a large broker and agent network via phone and email
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with brokers, MGAs, Blue Plans and internal sales partners
  • Support sales directors and managers with quote and proposal preparation for short- and long-term products
  • Partner with enrollment and accounts payable teams to help resolve commission and billing questions
  • Support the pre-sales and underwriting process to ensure products are understood, implemented efficiently and positioned appropriately
  • Assist with broker and agent onboarding and contract intake, review, processing and maintenance
  • Collaborate closely with teammates to support application enrollments and ensure a smooth handoff across teams
  • Create and distribute clear, accurate sales reports within tight timelines
  • Maintain and manage contact data, including lead and business card information collected at conferences and events
  • Support quality assurance activities and ongoing website testing to improve accuracy and usability
  • Support planning and execution of trade shows, conferences and sales events
  • Manage logistics including registration, shipping of materials, exhibit setup and breakdown
  • Coordinate with vendors for events, client meetings, and promotional items
  • Track expenses and budgets related to conferences and events

Skills

  • You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • You thrive in a client-service or sales-support environment and can manage multiple projects at once
  • You communicate clearly and confidently, including with senior-level stakeholders
  • You're adaptable, self-motivated and comfortable navigating changing priorities
  • You're detail-oriented and take pride in delivering accurate, timely work
  • This role requires obtaining a Health & Accident license within 90 days of hire (support provided)
  • Experience working with brokers, agents, or insurance-related products
  • Salesforce experience
  • Spanish language skills
