Role Overview

We are hiring for our sister app - Dostt , an audio and video platform. Currently, we operate in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Punjabi, Marathi, Bengali and Oriya. As we expand rapidly, we are seeing significant growth where we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Trust & Safety Associate to oversee the integrity and quality of Audio & Video conversations on our platform. The Trust & Safety Association will be responsible for reviewing and auditing the recorded conversation, ensuring compliance with community guidelines, and maintaining a safe and positive environment. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, be comfortable working with sensitive conversation, and possess strong decision-making abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and moderate (audio & video conversations) to ensure it meets the platform’s standards and guidelines.
  • Identify and flag inappropriate, harmful conversations for review .
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of community guidelines and ensure they are applied consistently.
  • Maintain accurate records of moderation activities and contribute to periodic reports.
  • Engage with users & hosts to provide clarification on community policies when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Previous experience in content moderation or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of platform-specific guidelines and community standards.
  • Ability to make quick, balanced decisions based on platform guidelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Tamil & must be fluent in English (read, write and speak)
  • Basic knowledge of computer operations, CRM & Excel.
  • Ability to handle sensitive content in a professional and composed manner.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
