The role involves designing and developing backend services, optimizing performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing scalable backend services and APIs that support core platform functionality
- Building responsive, accessible user interfaces that elevate user experience across devices
- Optimizing performance, scalability, and reliability in distributed, cloud-based systems. Implementing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and secure cloud deployments
- Collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering teams to turn ideas into impactful solutions
- Maintaining high code quality through peer reviews, documentation, and observability best practices
- Exploring and integrating AI-assisted tools to accelerate development and problem-solving
Skills
- Have BS or MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or 1-3 years of relevant professional experience
- Demonstrate proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js
- Apply knowledge of frontend frameworks like React.js or Vue.js to build performant interfaces
- Design and implement RESTful or GraphQL APIs for scalable integrations
- Utilize relational and non-relational databases effectively for data integrity and performance
- Use version control and CI/CD practices to ensure high-quality code delivery
- Employ AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, and documentation
- Leverage experience with Microservices, event-driven systems, or infrastructure-as-code for expanded impact
