Associate Software Developer | Louisville, KY
OnTrac is a leading provider of same-day and next-day delivery services in the U.S. They are hiring an Associate Software Developer who will be responsible for coding, testing, documentation, and maintenance of applications while working closely with senior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in software development.
Responsibilities
- Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to project and development specifications
- Monitor software performance of new and existing programs for the purpose of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging
- Administer critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas
- Assist in the development and maintenance of user manuals and guidelines
- Perform code reviews and software QA for other developers
Skills
- College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or software engineering, and/or 1+ years equivalent work experience
- Working technical knowledge of C#
- Working technical knowledge of .Net 8
- Working technical knowledge of PostgreSQL
- Working technical knowledge of TSQL
- Working technical knowledge of Angular
- Experience with CI/CD
- Hands on experience working in integrated development environments
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases and data structures
- Hands-on software troubleshooting experience
- Be flexible and adaptable in learning and understanding new technologies
- Have strong written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Be able to conduct research into software-related issues and products
- Be highly self-motivated and self-directed
- Demonstrate a keen attention to detail
- Be open to direction and constructive criticism for self-improvement
- Demonstrate proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
