Business Development Representative

Redgate Software creates simple software to help data professionals get the most value out of any database. As a Business Development Representative, you will generate high-quality sales opportunities within target accounts and contribute to the growth and success of the sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify opportunities with existing and new accounts via call, email, social media, and marketing contacts
  • Manage ‘pool’ accounts and take control of prospecting, both within and outside provided cadences
  • Conduct high-level conversations with technical and business decision-makers
  • Research prospects, identify key contacts, and update Salesforce records
  • Collaborate weekly with Account Executives for strategic planning
  • Meet KPIs for high contact volume through calls and emails daily
  • Achieve monthly quotas for outbound meetings generated for Account Executives
  • Map prospective accounts' organizational structure, people, and existing technology
  • Identify business pains, objectives, and impacts on prospects' organizations
  • Collaborate with the Field Marketing team on customer needs, messaging, and ABM leads

Skills

  • At least 1 year experience in outbound sales is desirable
  • A genuine interest in technology and ability to learn and understand technical information
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to develop and repurpose sales and marketing copy and articulate key business drivers to multiple personas
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Experience in using CRM Software would be beneficial
