As a Supply Chain Procurement Specialist – ​Level 2, you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position is FT remote. In this job, you will:

  • Source and procure various commodities throughout multiple programs – Initiate Requests for Quotation, analyzing Supplier proposals, perform price analysis, and negotiations
  • Ensure compliance with all public law requirements (FAR and DFARS) as well as company (and business) policies and procedures including import/export regulations
  • Review, reconcile and approve supplier invoices
  • Interface and collaborate with Programs and other organizations within and outside of Global Supply Chain
  • Interface and collaborate with Programs and other organizations within and outside of Global Supply Chain
  • Plan, schedule and arrange activities to accomplish objectives

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in Global Supply Chain, Purchasing/ Procurement, Operations – OR – Master’s degree; in lieu of degree an additional 4+ years of experience will be considered
  • Experience with SAP ERP and Costpoint system
  • Experience in MS Office suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience within the Aerospace or Aviation Industry is preferred
  • Experience with FAR/DFAR
  • Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables, basic formulas and V-look ups
  • Written and verbal communication skills and be extremely organized, as well as being an Excel power user

Primary Level Salary Range: $62,700.00 - $94,100.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
