Job title: Oracle DBA - Remote Company: Mythics Job description: Mythics is looking for highly skilled Oracle DBA Consultant who has experience migrating large and mission critical database environments from older versions (11g, 12c) to 19c. You will be given the opportunity to work both individually and as part of a team as an Oracle database SME supporting our customers' Modernization initiatives. If you are an experienced DBA who has an exceptional attitude and aptitude, then we would like to discuss opportunities for contract and contract-to-hire opportunities. Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen or Greencard holder to work on a variety of projects
• Minimum of 12 years of experience and a B.S. degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree
• 3-5 years of Oracle Database migration and upgrade experience required
• 6-7 yrs exp w/ Oracle Linux
• Oracle GoldenGate preferred
• Oracle RAC experience
• Oracle Database 12c to 19c upgrade experience preferred
• Database performance tuning
• Oracle DataGuard experience required
• RMAN backup & recovery experience
• Oracle Database encryption
• Experience upgrading and migrating large databases
• Networking related to Oracle database
• Oracle Certified Professional certification is a plus
• Oracle OCI experience is a plus
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Able to work independently and efficiently to complete tasks
